HISTORIC MARATHON
October 17 & 18, 2026

Established in 1958, the Atlantic City Marathon is the third oldest continuing marathon in the United States. The marathon course is noted for being fast and flat, including eight miles of oceanfront Boardwalk running! 

Certified Boston Qualifier

 A USATF Certified Boston Qualifier, the race historically takes place each year in October.

The Atlantic City Marathon is an RRCA State of New Jersey Championship Event and an Abbot World Major Age Group Championship Qualifier. The race weekend was voted Race Raves Runners Choice: Best Marathon and Half Marathons in the U.S. in 2024 and 2025.

Bag Check Location: On Boardwalk in front of Bally's. Only one bag per runner. Bag check will not accept loose clothing or suitcases.

AMERIHEALTH NEW JERSEY ATLANTIC CITY MARATHON & HALF MARATHON

Bag Check Location: On Boardwalk in front of Bally's. Only one bag per runner. Bag check will not accept loose clothing or suitcases.

Overall awards are given to the first, second and third place male and female finishers in each event. Age group awards are given to the first, second and third place male and female finishers in each 10 year age range.
